Do you believe in Ghosts?

So in my drawing class there is a Nadine, Malene, a Kaleen, a Nina, a Keeley, and a Kelsey, all in a row on the roll! It makes me laugh everytime.

Aparently Addison Kirk (one of my friends that's on a mission) was jogging with the YM in his ward and busted up one of his knees, bad! So now he's in a wheel chair, with a ton of huge bolts in his leg. He had to be sent home and might not be able to return to the misson field until around January. Or so his younger sister says. Well, they do say that the closer you are to the spirit, the harder you will be tried and tested. It's still a pain though (literally).

HALLOWEEN is almost here! YEAH!!!!

It's ALARMING!

I'm going to try a new tactic. Apparently my body can adapt itself to be able to do things in its sleep, when the thing is a repetitive action. Such as how I used to walk to the bathroom in my sleep. And then, during seminary I used to be able to sit up and tell mom I was awake... without waking up. NOW I'm turning my alaram off in my sleep. I have an 8 am class Tues and Thurs, and I have twice woken up at almost 9 am with my alarm in my hand, turned off. Aaaah! Fortunately it is a class where attendance isn't take. However, the teacher often teaches things not in the text and puts that on the test. So I have to get notes from someone. Rrrrrgh! I'm going to put my alarm on the opposite side of the room from me, and that way I'll have to get up and the the blood pumping. Also if my roommates get made for me not turning it off right away I'll have even more insentive to get out of bed. We'll see how this goes.

Yesterday I was busy ALL day! I got up at 8:30 amd worked on a drawing and a paper. Then I had class from 10:15 to 12:15. I ran home, finished my drawing, and went to my class at 2:00. I got out of class at about 5:00, came home and ate my first meal of the day, and then headed to the library to print off my test for LT. I then went to FHE. After FHE I went to Music Outlet. After Music Outlet I came home and did my test. After journaling and scripture study I got to bed at about 12:30 am. EARLY! (well, compared to last week)

I finally got my new debit card AND pin #, so this afternoon I'm heading out to find a place that will cut lenses for my new glasses. Over the past several weeks ChloƩ has assured me that I do INDEED need them! My only problem is that I have to activate the card with an ATM machine. I thought I new where one was on campus, but it didn't like my card. So now I have to find a DIFFERENT one, off campus somewhere. By the grocery store maybe?

Well, it's not going to work for me to go to SLC this weekend. Phooey! But atleast I got a ticket to the Halloween Concert!!!! I'm so excited! They sold out so quickly I barely managed to get one! I'm going to the last showing the last night (Halloween Night to be exact). I'm actually glad I'm going to that showing, because it's the FINALE, oui? It should be good! The theme is Pirates of the Caribbean this year.

Well, I gtg to work.

Funnness

It's Friday, it's Friday, it's Friday, it's Friday!
Hey, did you know? It's Friday! YAAAAAYYY! I CAN SLEEP IN TOMORROW! YIPEEEEEEE!

Yesterday was eventful. I woke up 3 min. after my class started, ran, and got there only 18 min. after it started. They'd barely started. :) (I'd set my alarm, but had turned it off when it went off, but I don't remember doing it.) In my Western Culture class we discussed Aristotle's idea of a perfect play. So we spent to rest of the class time (1 1/2 hours) discussing all the movies we know that live up to his ideas. We watched little movie clips and listened to sound clips. There's nothing quite like having fun while learning, is there?!? Well, my next class we ended by watching a bugsbunny clip. Just for fun. No real reason. Those two classes are so  much fun! I just wish they weren't so early in the day.

Then, in the evening my ward had a Halloween Party. I dressed up, stayed for a bit eating dinner, etc. then went over to my friend Chloe's. There we made chocolate chip cookies and started watching The Importance of Being Ernest. But all the sugar in the cookies left Chloe hyper and she decided we should GO somewhere and DO something. So first we headed to the Spori (art building). While there I was examining a painting someone had left out, and I was pointing to something on it when... I realized my finger had touched wet paint!!!! When I withdrew my hand there was a tiny circular smudge on the smooth, carefully done painting!!! AAAAAAHHHH! WHY DID SOMEONE LEAVE A WET PAINTING SITTING OUT IN THE OPEN, UNPROTECTED, NO SIGNS, ETC???? RRRrrrrrgggghhh! Chloe swore that they wouldn't notice, but, as an artist myself, I know they'll notice! We immediately left the building and headed for the gardens. The whole while I was shouting at myself in my head. That poor poor poor artist! They'd already spent hours and hours on that painting! Finally Chloe managed to calm me down and we got to the gardens. There we took out or cameras and started playing with shutter speed, etc. It was fun.
Eventually we hiked back to her place, collected some of her things, and went back to my apt. so she could spend the night. I went to sleep at about 3 a.m.

This morning I rolled out of bed and went to my NT class that started today. Technically it was supposed to start on Wed., but the teacher has been out of the country. Well, about 5-10 minutes after I got to class a man walked in and informed us that our teacher had just left. He was feeling ill. So we didn't have class again today. Instead I used the time to run over to the bookstore and buy the new drawing pencils and eraser that I really need.

I want to play cards, I want to play scrabble, I want to eat good food, I want to do something fun with other people. I want to watch a movie. Maybe I'll go see what movies the library has. Hmmm.....

Tagged, again? :)
Thanx Jo. I'm just going to copy and paste the Rules.

SIX: I love all sorts of music, but on a single song basis

Spontaneous Idea

We're studying Ancient Greece in Western Culture right now. I think that it would be awesome to have a few miniatures of Greek statues in my future house library. Like on of Athena from the Parthenon! I LOVE her helmet! Freakin' awesome!

Oh yeah, and in memory of the nolonger existent snow:

P.S. Patricia C. Wrede is one of my all-time favorite authors!

Tagg-Ed!

Alright then. Bordom makes us funny people do funny things.

According to Jo, I've been tagged. "If you are reading this, then consider yourself tagged. As I was tagged two times over, I'm going to combine them into one tag. My tag challenge to you is to do both of these."

First tag is to post the 4th photo in your 4th folder.

This is a picture I scanned. It's of my dad when he was a teenager, sitting on his fron porch with his little sister, Aunt Patrice.

The second tag is nearly the same, 5th pic in the 5th folder on your computer (flash drive in my case):

This is a picture of my little Bro., Sam, when we went hiking last winter.
